Simulation and Component Test Lab :
With operation of four servo hydraulic actuator each 40kn with 250mm
stroke this laboratory can simulate different kind of road profile.
The major capability of this laboratory is in the following test
fields:
- Ride comfort test:
In Ride comfort test the acceleration of different points of body
measured when vehicle passing though different type of simulated
roads. Ride comfort number represent the quality of vehicle
suspension to absorb vibration.
- Optimization of vehicle suspension system:
To validate vehicle dynamic models designers compare the test result
obtained in laboratory with result from dynamic models so they can
optimize their dynamic model toward design goals.
- Suspension parts and subassembly operational test:
Operational characteristic of suspension parts and subassemblies
measured by manufacturer test procedures.
- Durability and endurance test of vehicle suspension system and
parts:
By passing through specially designed road laboratory can simulate
the equivalent 15,000 km life cycle of whole vehicle in a short
period of time.
Furthermore, this laboratory is capable to handle a number of
durability test of vehicle parts.
Meanwhile, this laboratory has been recognized as partner laboratory
of TUV Austria. |
