Powertrain
& chassis System Design department:
The processes of chassis system design
department consist of two processes: chassis system design and
vehicle dynamic analysis. The scope of this section involves the
design of distinct components to the design of new vehicle platform.
The chassis system design commences after
receiving design information from vehicle engineering that itself is
the results of project technical and economical evaluation, in which
the target platform selection has major role in illustrating the
remained researches.
The design of chassis system continues after
defining the hardpoints with 3D modeling of front & rear suspension
systems, braking system, steering system, exhaust system and fuel
system (CNG & petrol). The aim of this modeling is investigation of
suspension system geometry and its components, geometrical clash,
manufacturing feasibility analysis and model kinematic & dynamic
analysis that in this stage
accordance and communication with other departments are very
important. In latter stage, detail design on the basis of FEM
analysis of components and collections is accomplished and finally
the remained works in manufacturing stage proceed by drawing the 2D
sketches & 3D files. In vehicle dynamic analysis stage, vehicle
ride, handling and braking are investigated by simulation.
In addition,
for accessing new technology, specific researches are done for
identifying new systems and future requests provision.
