Noise Lab :

This laboratory is unique in Iran and Middle East and contains a semi anechoic chamber, chassis dynamometer, a 64 channels data acquisition system and advanced software and hardware instruments for noise measurements.
This laboratory performs following tasks:
- Measuring vehicle external noise levels (pass by noise) according to the international standard such as
ISO and EEC
- Measuring vehicle internal noise levels according to the international standards such as ISO and EEC
- Measuring noise levels and frequency responses of the vehicle and other machines such as vacuum cleaner, washer, compressors, etc
- Determining performance of noise isolating materials that play important role in reducing vehicle internal noise
- Measuring the frequency response of acoustical fields such as vehicle passenger compartment and experimentally determining transfer function of these fields
Meanwhile, this laboratory has been recognized as partner laboratory of TUV Austria.
