This department takes care of a number of undertakings among them all measures which have something to do with power train such as selecting the engine as well as the transmission and electronic systems, conducting analysis on the vehicle and engine, detailed designing of the automotive parts and necessary power train testing and analysis of test results, introducing changes and also conducting studies on alternative fuels.
All activities undertaken in design departments are interconnected and are implemented through advanced software such as PAM, ADAMS,
I-DEAS, CATIA, MSC/NASTRAN, ALIAS, PRO/ENGINEER and powerful hardware such SGI, SUN, and HP. Engineering design and analysis are integrated. When the prototypes are tested and production license is issued, automotive parts are mass-produced.
Even after production and sale of vehicles, the center maintains constant contact with the department of market research and strategic studies to remain in touch with the viewpoints of customers and use them as a basis to improve the quality of ongoing projects and set the stage for future designs.
