Modal Analysis and Vehicle Body Static Deformation Lab :

This laboratory is equipped with advanced software and hardware instruments for vibration and static deformation tests. Data acquisition system with 64 channels and bending and torsion stiffness measuring instruments are the other facilities of this laboratory.
This laboratory performs following tasks:
- Modal test of body in white and vehicle components such as frame to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes of them and vibration levels of vehicle systems due to external excitations.
- Determining bending and torsional stiffness of vehicle body and analyzing the distribution of twist along the body's length.
- Using modal test results for finite element model updating and error localization of finite element model.
Meanwhile, this laboratory has been recognized as partner laboratory of TUV Austria.
